I’ve been on a journey this year of cultivating my own style. That is where my appreciation for fashion comes in. Fashion allows you to curate a style that fits you freely. You don’t always need more; you can pick versatile pieces and create a new outfit with one interchangeable piece. That is why I fell in love with VegaStar Designs. They are a custom art and design company that makes one-of-a-kind work. What makes them different is that they don’t make work based on what you tell them; they make art from what they see in you from their heart.

What is their process? Well, after you send them an inquiry (place an order for a custom jacket), they will schedule a meeting with you over the phone. In the meeting, they will ask you a series of questions to get to know you. Such as what are your hobbies, what is your belief system, or what are your achievements? After that, they will take your answers and turn them into a story. In other words, your story will be painted on the jacket. So, you have no say in how the jacket will be designed. You will instead let your story speak for itself, and then you will give the designers the freedom to create for you.
It’s an intimate process because it is in the reflection of ‘letting go’ and allowing life to unfold with the intention of receiving something beautiful in mind. So, if you are interested in standing out and feeling special, I suggest wearing a custom jacket. Shogun Jacket
As you can see in this image, I am wearing “Shogun”; it is a painting of a hereditary commander-in-chief in feudal Japan. The boldness of the red color emphasizes strength, determination, and power. Shogun is supposed to evoke an alter ego that must be tapped into when things get hard or challenging. For the person whose jacket belongs to it, its power is supposed to speak to them. To remind them that they are an warrior who leads and conquers their battles.

Interlude Jacket
This jacket is one of my favorite works of VegaStar Designs. Due to its pop art style, reminiscent of the 50’s portrayal of embracing imagery from popular culture, mass media, and consumerism globally. What attracted me to this jacket is the colors and the art on it. The detail in the lips of a musician singing a song is not only about music, but a reminder of the power of words we speak. We can physically see the words that she is expressing, because words have power. Which also means that you are the commanders of our mind, energy, and life.
