I remember seeing hate on TikTok about Akira clothing. Some people complained about how extreme the clothes were. But the truth is, even though the clothes are outside-the-box, they are statement pieces. It’s about how you wear them and what you pair them with.
When I go to Akira, I make sure to choose pieces that are versatile and that I can wear with anything. That’s why I go for their corsets, black shirts, or black pants with embellishments. This year, I went to the club and wore the same corset twice. I did not give a crap. There is no need to buy a new outfit for every occasion. Whenever I come up with a new look, I congratulate myself and say, “new fit unlocked!”. It’s rewarding, and I also save money. The corset I wore is black with sexy strings hanging from it. I love it and feel sexy and comfortable wearing it. Plus, it’s easy to whine in whenever I find myself twerking on the dance floor.
Whenever I shop from Akira, I make sure that my tops complement most of my pants. Whether it’s shorts, jeans, a skirt, or spanks. This is so I can wear it more than once. I also stick to dark colors because black goes with everything, as you can see in my photos.
What I also like about Akira is that they have great sales. Whenever I am just visiting to see what new clothes they have in stock, I always find cute shorts, tops, and shoes, sometimes 50%-70% off. There are also sales online.
