A few things that get me excited about parties are the music, hanging out with friends, and being admired for my beauty and sense of style. I love fashion, getting ready for functions, doing my hair and makeup, and pairing it with the perfect outfit as well. I spend the week before shopping for a chic look that makes me stand out, feel comfortable, and confident. So that I can dance and mingle without adjusting my fit or worrying if I look good or not. It’s like a ritual for me because, on my regular days, I opt out of doing a full face beat and wearing my special clothes out of laziness. I should do it more often, though, because tomorrow isn’t promised. But when I do, I get a huge confidence boost, and I’m always surprised by how much I shock myself whenever I put 100% into my appearance.
So, last year I went to a Caribbean party. It was great, but let me tell you, all eyes were on me. It was nerve-racking at first because I tend to be introverted at times, but I was receiving love from both men and women for my clothes. Rather than wearing my traditional all-black outfit, I decided to switch it up by going to Mystique boutique.

There I found a lot of clothes that I liked, but once I discovered these jeans, I knew that I was sold. You can order the jeans on Amazon. When it comes to these jeans, I suggest wearing a plain or toned-down top because they stand out already. No need to take attention away from it, you will definitely turn heads with these alone.

As for the top, I decided to wear a black corset, which shows off my neckline perfectly. I got it from a local boutique. Their website is under construction as of now, but I found the exact one I wore on Amazon and I listed two other ones that are also cute.

When it came to the shore, I wore these Steven Madden Blitzee Foldover Boots. I found them in-person at DSW. I am obsessed with them because not only are they cute, but they are comfortable. I was able to stand and dance all night. One thing about me is that I am intentional about the shoes I buy. Even though I want to look cute, I care about feeling comfortable as well. If my feet start aching, then I am not going to enjoy myself due to the discomfort. So when I found these, I knew that they were meant for me. These are Steven Madden heels and they are on sale on the DSW website (only a few sizes left).
You can honestly wear this outfit in most places. I would wear it even on a casual day. You don’t need to wait until it’s time to go out, you can enjoy them now. One thing to be mindful of is that jeans are fragile, so don’t be too rough with them, so the beads don’t pop off. But other than that, you will look fabulous.
