Moisture and Growth Hair Mask Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Scoop out the flesh of the ripe avocado into a mixing bowl, and mash it with a fork.
    • Add the egg yolk to the bowl.
    • Pour in the coconut oil.
    • Add the lemon juice.
    • Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • Use a fork or blender to mash and combine all the ingredients until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  3. Apply the Mask:
    • Start with damp, detangled hair.
    • Section your hair and apply the mask evenly from roots to ends.
    • Gently massage the mask into your scalp.
  4. Leave It On:
    • Cover your hair with a shower cap.
    • Let the mask sit for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Rinse and Shampoo:
    • Rinse the mask out thoroughly with cold water not HOT! You’ll end up having scrambled eggs in your hair.
    • Wash with shampoo to remove any residue.
