Hey everyone, today’s blog is something different. I want to share a list of affirmations with you. I know that affirmations can be difficult to embody sometimes. We live in a world that teaches us not to love ourselves fully. Being sold products that aim to fix something 9 times out of ten doesn’t need fixing, jumping on the newest diet, getting plastic surgery, and holding difficult expectations over ourselves and others, it’s getting chaotic.
Sometimes I find myself logging off, and even then, when the people around you are immersed in the limiting beliefs of the world, what they are feeding into their minds can often be projected onto you. So, if you feel overwhelmed, under pressure, or insecure about yourself and your journey, just know that you are not alone and I understand completely. But what has been helping me lately is reading the Bible and jotting down affirmations to myself whenever the nosy around me gets loud.
- I am capable of living a life I dream of
- I permit myself to take a moment to myself to rejuvenate
- I am already great
- I am deserving of genuine love and respect
- I appreciate what my body can do
- I am grateful for being here, even though the tough times
- I choose myself by pouring into myself
- I am learning to trust myself
- My time is precious
This is a short list but they carry weight. Take these gentle reminders with you and modify them to your truth. Don’t force them if it doesn’t feel authentic yet. Think of these love notes as water; to replenish yourself. Think of it this way, sometimes our hearts and minds are just thirsty. Throughout the day, we would focus on ten thousand things but ourselves. So, the moment we feel upset or overworked it can just be our spirit communicating that we need to take a step back and take a moment to ourselves.
